PURPOSE:To reduce the fatigue of the eyes of a user at the time of retrieval on the stereoscopic image information retrieving device which retrieves necessary stereoscopic image information in a data base for stored stereoscopic images. CONSTITUTION:The stereoscopic image information retrieving device through which the retrieved stereoscopic image information is seen by viewing images for the right and left eyes which have parallax in order through polarizing spectacles 22 is provided with a 1st retrieval display means 100 which performs retrieval by displaying with a two-dimensional image and a 2nd retrieval display means 200 which displays the retrieved stereoscopic image after the retrieval by the 1st retrieval display means 100.
