PURPOSE:To obtain a sheet for forming a printing unit having simple manufacturing steps and contributing to a method for manufacturing the unit without necessity of a mold. CONSTITUTION:A photosensitive layer 5 containing photosensitive substance 3 (e.g. optically polymerizable resin) and a filler 4 (e.g. metal oxide) is carried on a support 2 (e.g. polypropylene), and a protective layer 6 (e.g. polyester) is carried on the layer 5. This sheet for fanning a printing unit is used to manufacture a porous print plate in steps of much less number than that of a prior art method without using a mold, thereby coping with a multikind and small quantity production. Further, since the protective layer is provided, it has an effect of protecting a surface of the photosensitive layer against damage during preservation or handling. |
