The present disclosure is related to a method and system for transferring fuel between vehicles which is in connection with the vehicle’s multimedia device allowing to activate the fuel transfer system through a touch screen, where the signal processor is responsible for interpreting the signal received from the multimedia device to activate a control device that activates / deactivates the operation of the second electric pump that carries the fuel through the transfer line towards a transfer hose to supply fuel to the receiving vehicle. The transfer information will be fed back by a flow sensor which measures the fuel rate that is being transferred; such information is transmitted between both vehicles via an encoder sending the interpreted signal through a male / female connector, and a decoder receiving information through an interface.
