Vehicle re-fuelling robot system - uses robot arm for removing vehicle fuel cap and for inserting nozzle into tank entrance

The re-fuelling device has an operating terminal and a re-fuelling robot (4) at a re-fuelling island (1) with at least one vehicle re-fuelling bay, allowing the vehicle fuel cap to be removed and the fuel dispensing nozzle to be inserted in the vehicle fuel tank. Pref. the re-fuelling island has a magazine for the fuel lines, each housed over part of its length by a cassette, the associated dispensing nozzles having elements cooperating with the robot grippers. ADVANTAGE - Robot and dispensing nozzles are protected within re-fuelling island from damage or vandalism.
