<p>PURPOSE:To provide a barrier to prevent the erroneous operation due to an improper angle of a finger at the time of touch input of an optical touch panel. CONSTITUTION:Since an erroneous operation preventing barrier 8 is constituted like a lattice in the optical touch panel, the touch angle of a finger 1 is not excessive or the finger 1 does not touch a display unit 5 of the touch panel by bending, and therefore the erroneous operation is prevented. That is, the center of the finger touch area where the finger 1 touches the display unit 5 and that of the light interception area where the finger 1 intercepts a light beam 4 from a light emitting element 2 to a photodetector 3 approximately coincide with each other. Consequently, the occurrence of the erroneous operation due to noncoincidence between the center of the finger touch area and that of the light interception area is prevented. When the erroneous operation preventing barrier 8 is provided with light beam passage holes 9 or notched holes, it does not matter if the light-transmissive property of the erroneous operation preventing barrier 8 is degraded.</p> |
