Tractor PTO with adjustable speeds

The PTO drive stubs (7, 10) are located in one of two insert positions in the gearbox. The drive into the gearbox is via a fixed shaft (2). The two output drives are coupled to the input shaft by meshing gears (3, 4) and by a second gear train (8, 11). The gears in the second train can be replaced to generate other gear ratios.The gearbox housing (6) is simply split to expose the gear for simple replacement. The two drive stub positions rotate in opposing directions. The replacement gears enable at least two gear ratios to be obtained for each shaft.
