PURPOSE:To provide a vessel for a recording head capable of keeping the recording head in a stable condition and ensuring the housing and ejecting operations without impairing ink discharge functions. CONSTITUTION:The vessel comprises a vessel main body 1 including a face opened at a right angle with respect to the ink discharge port formation face 4 of a recording head 3, a sliding lid 2 movable in its opening and closing operation along the opening 1A, wherein members 5 are provided that act to regulate putting in and out of the recording head 3 to the housing position in the opening 1A, and means is also provided in the sliding lid 2, which serves to deflect the side of the ink discharge port formation face of the recording head toward a receptacle 6 that is opposed thereto. |
