PURPOSE: To provide the switch and system for switching integrated optical multiple channels and the manufacture of the switch. CONSTITUTION: A buffer film 12 and a recessed part 24 formed in a substrate 2, one input-side microguide 18, and two adjacent output-side microguides are included, those input-side and output-side microguides are positioned on both the sides of the recessed part and extend almost in parallel to a 1st direction, and a flexible gutter 26, including a center microguide 32, is formed in the buffer film to its entire length; and one end part of this gutter is a free end and able to deform in the recessed part in a 2nd direction, which is parallel to the surface of the substrate and orthogonal to the 1st direction, the center microguide is located on the extension of the input-side microguide, and the free end part of this center microguide is movable on the extension of one output-side microguides by exciting means 36, 38, 44, 46, 40, and 48. |
