A tank, in particular a water storage cistern in a rain water utilisation system, has a container (2) with an opening (1) and a preferably opaque wall (3). In order to make it easier to transport such a tank to the site of use, and to obtain a simple and stable design, the container (2) is made of at least two parts, and the partial segments (4, 15) which constitute the container (2) are interconnected in a water-tight and detachable manner. One of the partial segments is designed as a base part (4) and the other partial segment as a covering part (15). |
