PURPOSE: To generate a composition image in which each desired object is the most focused. CONSTITUTION: Each of the desired number of optical images captured by changing a focus distance is converted into multiple resolution expression by a wavelet conversion (step 2), each coefficient of each resolution expression is compared at the same position, and the maximum spectrum amplitude is detected, and another multiple resolution expression is obtained based on those detected maximum spectrum amplitudes (step 3), and a composition image is obtained by inverse wavelet conversion (step 4). |
