A T-CONNECTION BETWEEN TWO PROFILES

A frame profile (1) and a ladder profile (2) are connected to each other by two T-connectors (4 and 7) that are secured to the frame profile (1). Within the butt area there is a gap which, according to the present invention, is sealed by means of a sealing pad (13) that is secured to the frame profile (1). The sealing pad (13) consists of an elastic material, preferably of a closed-cell foam. The thickness of the sealing pad (13) is greater than the width of the gap so that the sealing pad (13) is compressed by the ladder profile after the assembly of the frame profile (1) and the ladder profile (2) and is pressed firmly against the frame profile (1). The sealing of the gap area by using a sealing pad (13) is simple and requires only a small material outlay.
