<p>A transgenic mammal is described which comprises a heterologous gene encoding an effector associated with a disease, the gene comprising at least one control sequence effective to direct expression of the effector substantially exclusively to cells where the effector is expressed in the normal course of the disease. The mammal of the invention is useful in the study of diseases and therapy for diseases.</p> |
