PURPOSE:To provide a lighting system, which can reduce the diameter of wire while ensuring the strength for holding a number of bulbs, which can improve appearance by preventing an electric wiring from being seen, and which can enhance availability. CONSTITUTION:A number of bulbs 7 are electrically connected to electric wiring 6, while each bulb 7 is held by the electric wiring 6, to form a lighting system for decoration. A single or twisted wire of metallic extra fine wire of no more than 100mum in the diameter, and of tensile strength of no less than 200Kgf/mm<2>, is used. A conductive metal film is formed on the outer surface of the single or twisted wire of the metallic extra fine wire, while an insulated film is formed on the surface of the metal film. A low carbon two-phase system steel wire is used for the metallic extra fine wire. Precious metal such as Au, Ag, or Cu is used for the conductive metal film, and the electric conductivity of the conductive metallic extra fine wire in relation to the Cu wire is no less than 45%. |
