PURPOSE:To reduce percentage of appearance defective by a method wherein the bad effect of molten resin heat on skin material is eliminated at the integral pressing of the skin material and resin core material by mold press forming method. CONSTITUTION:At the mold press forming of resin core material and skin material into the required form by engagingly pressing a mold press forming top mold 40, onto which the skin material is set in advance, and a mold press forming bottom mold 30, a flow controlling member 64 is provided at the tip of the valve gate pin 61 of a valve gate 60 so as to flow molten resin M horizontally along the under surface of the flow controlling member 64. Thus, no concentration of the thermal damage due to the molten resin M to one point of the skin material occurs and the molten resin M fills all the corners of the cavity made between the top and bottom molds 30 and 40 in a short time. |
