PURPOSE:To print an image data by ink drops without generating the deterioration of printing quality and excessive wetting of a recording paper. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet recording head composed of a pressure generating chamber for communicating with a nozzle opening and a piezoelectric vibrator 14 for expanding and contracting the pressure generating chamber is used, and an image data and a text data are judged by a data judging means 40, and based on the decision result, the time constant of a variable time constant adjusting means 43 is set longer in the case of the image data compared with the text data. |
