This cyclist footwear comprises uppers (2) having a back formed with at least one shoe closure flap (3) adapted to be stretched, in an independently adjustable manner, by first and second fastening means (4, 5) at an instep region and a forward region of the uppers, wherein the first fastening means (4) comprises a side fastening arrangement (6-13) with a first fastening member (10) mounted on the uppers (2) and a second fastening member (6) mounted at the location of the free edge of the flap (3) facing toward the first member, so that the fastening pressure will be exerted on the instep region through the flap (3), and wherein the second fastening means comprises a cable lacing including a cable takeup device (26) carried on the flap (3) and a cable (23) hitch member (20) secured on the uppers (2). |
