Haymaking machine including several tedding or windrowing rotors which are carried by a supporting structure composed of a central section and of lateral sections articulated together, which central section includes a fastening device for coupling to a tractor and a transportation device with wheels that can be moved in terms of height by means of hydraulic rams, about articulation pins which are substantially horizontal and parallel to the central section of the supporting structure. It is characterised in that the hydraulic rams (47) which move the transportation wheels (41) are articulated by means of pins (51) to lugs (49) which are secured to the transportation device (37), and that the said hinge pins (51) are situated so that the hydraulic rams (47) form angles ( alpha ) of approximately 90 DEG with straight lines (D) passing through the said hinge pins (51) of the rams (47) and the hinge pins (43) of the transportation device (37) when the transportation wheels (41) are touching the ground. <IMAGE>
