The nozzle is used to fill the tank of a motor vehicle with fuel. The nozzle has an outer pipe disposed concentrically about the inner pipe through which fuel flows. There is an annular space between the outer and inner pipes. The end of the outer pipe has an opening where fumes from the motor vehicle tend to accumulate and a fan draws those fumes into the annular space and discharge them to a safe location remote from the motor vehicle and the nozzle.
