PURPOSE:To obtain a damping metal panel having heat resistance and improved in the exudation of a resin from the end part thereof or the shift of the metal panel by adding one or more kind of an epoxy resin selected from a flexible epoxy resin, liquid rubber, an acid anhydride, imidazole and a polyfunctional epoxy resin to the resin compsn. for the damping metal panel. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate layer whose gelling degree is adjusted by heating at the time of the production of a damping metal panel is composed of a resin compsn. containing at least one kind of an epoxy resin selected from a group consisting of a flexible epoxy resin having two or more epoxy groups in its molecule, liquid rubber having a carboxyl group in its molecule, an acid anhydride, imidazole or a derivative thereof and a polyfunctlonal epoxy resin being a crosslinking agent. The resin compsn. is crosslinked by the reaction of the epoxy group in the flexible epoxy resin or polyfunctional epoxy resin with the carboxyl group formed by the reaction of the liquid rubber or acid anhydride with imidazole or with a formed alkoxy anion to be gelled and cured to enhance damping properties, bonding strength and heat resistance. |
