PURPOSE:To improve time follow-up performance and evade the difficulty of detecting an editing point without generating a backlash by obtaining and outputting an interpolation signal based upon a polynomial of degree (M-1) by using a group of M sample values obtained by shifting the whole toward new sample values by one sampling period. CONSTITUTION:Prescribed data which are read out of a buffer memory 4 are given to an input terminal 3a of a signal processing part 3 from the output terminal 4a of the buffer memory 4. Further, a signal DELTANk indicating a decrease rate 1/N of the pitch of an acoustic signal is supplied from an external circuit to an input terminal 3c of the signal processing part 3. Then when the size of the cumulative value of the signal DELTANk exceeds 1, the value obtained by subtracting 1 from the cumulative value is used as the initial value of the cumulative value of the signal DELTANk in one next sampling period. Further, the group of the M sample values obtained by shifting the whole toward new sample values by one sampling period is used instead of a group of M sample values which are used so far to obtain and output the interpolation signal based upon the polynomial of degree (M-1). |
