PURPOSE:To prevent developer from being leaked from a developing device and the obtain good-quality printed image. CONSTITUTION:A developing roller seal 7 stuck to the lower part of the front surface of a hopper 2 storing toner is allowed to abut on a developing roller 1. A sponge sheet 8 is stuck to the back side of a spot where the seal 7 abuts on the roller 1, and the seal 7 is brought into press-contact with the roller 1 by the elasticity of the sheet 8, so that the seal 7 abuts on the roller 1 with uniform pressure without causing the weaviness of the seal 7, and the toner is prevented from being leaked. It is acceptable to stick the sheet 8 to the back side of the spots where both ends of the seal 7 abut on the roller 1 so as to being the seal 7 into press-contact with the roller 1 by the elasticity of the sheet 8. In such a case, the sheet 8 provided at both ends is made longer than both ends of the seal 7 so as to eliminate a gap between the roller 1 and a toner regulating blade 3 or the seal 7. |
