PURPOSE:To easily produce a mottled yarn having desired color darkness at a low cost using a core' yarn producing apparatus of a fasciated spinning frame or a ring spinning frame. CONSTITUTION:A colored filament 7 is supplied to a sliver-holding point 9 of a second roller 3 of a drafting apparatus l in the drafting of a spun fiber 5 with a drafting apparatus 1 of a fasciated spinning frame. The supplied colored filament 7 is broken by drafting together with a sliver, blended with a spun fiber and spun from a fasciated spinning nozzle 10 to obtain a mottled yarn 11.
