The stacker controls the number of the sheets according to length of a movable tap, and prevents discharged sheets from scattering or folding in printer or copier. The apparatus comprises a sheet discharge means (400); a lift (410), connected to the sheet discharge means (400), making the sheet discharge means (400) go up/down; the movable tap (100), connected to a hook (100a), driven up/down by the sheet discharge means (400); a sheet storage means (420) connected to the movable tap (100); a sensor sensing the sheet storage amount.
