PURPOSE:To surely prevent bulb replacement in the bulb lighting state that is attended with some danger by providing a specific blocking member for making it difficult to remove a lighting circuit unit from a lamp body before bulb replacement. CONSTITUTION:A rotation blocking member (e.g. protruded rib 16) protruded from the back face wall of a lamp body 11, interfering with a connector 63 inserted into a connector junction 70, and blocking the rotation of a lighting circuit unit 50 in the removing direction is provided near a fitting hole 11a provided on the back face wall of the lamp body 11. For the replacement of a discharge bulb, the lighting circuit unit 50 must be rotated and removed from the fitting hole 11a before a lighting circuit side connector is removed from the discharge bulb. When the lighting circuit unit 50 is rotated in the removing direction while an output cord 62 extended from a ballast circuit unit 60 is kept connected to the lighting circuit unit 50, the connector 63 inserted into the connecting junction 70 interferes with the rotation blocking member 16, and the rotation of the lighting circuit unit 50 is prevented. |
