The apparatus according to the invention for the straight guidance of endless loop-shaped textile webs possesses a row of straightening elements, of which the points of contact with the textile web are all located on a common radius and which are combined to form a straightening unit. By means of additional straightening elements arranged inside and/or outside the straightening unit and divided transversely to the direction of passage of the textile web, two or more textile webs rotating next to one another can be controlled independently of one another.
