PURPOSE:To provide an optical fiber cable capable of accurately detecting the temperature of a substance to be measured such as a power cable without receiving the effect of outside temperature. CONSTITUTION:In the optical fiber cable used to measure the temperature of the cable, etc., by arranging a cable main body 15 incorporating at least one optical fiber 13a and 13b in the outer periphery of the power cable or a transport piping, plural grooves 16a and 16b are previously installed in the longitudinal direction of the main body 15 on the outer peripheral surface of the main body 15 and a cover 18 having projecting parts 17a and 17b attachable/ detachable with respect to the grooves 16a and 16b is attached so as to cover the main body 15 from the outside. |
