摘要 In a method for reducing the gap-flow mixing losses and gap excitation in rotary thermal machines, the guide vanes (1) and rotor blades (2) of which are provided with shroud plates (3) or shroud rings and in which contactless seals (5) are arranged in the gaps (4) between the rotating components and the fixed components and passages are arranged ahead of the gap where the seals (5) are located, the mass flow through the gap downstream of the shroud plate (3) or shroud ring is fed at high speed directly to the next seal (5). Arranged in the guide vanes or rotor blades (1, 2) on the inlet side (8) there is at least one passage (6), the said passage opening at an angle alpha into a larger passage (7) arranged parallel to the outlet side (9) of the guide vanes or rotor blades (1, 2) and representing a calming chamber. The passage (7) is in turn connected on its longitudinal side to a smaller passage (10) situated on the outlet side of the vanes or blades (1, 2). <IMAGE>
