PURPOSE:To obtain a quick response image sensor having dynamic image detecting function and memory function by providing a unit pixel with regions having different migration rates. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 12, an insulation film 13, an acceptor molecular film 14A, a photosensitive molecular film 15A, an insulation film 13, an acceptor molecular film 14B, an insulation film 13B, a photosensitive molecular film 15B, an insulation film 13, and an electrode 12 are formed sequentially on a substrate 11. Furthermore, two regions having different charge migration rates are formed by forming a region comprising the acceptor molecular film 14A and the photosensitive molecular film 15A and a region comprising the acceptor molecular film 14B, the insulation film 13 and the photosensitive molecular film 15B. When the photosensitive molecular film 15 in a pixel is irradiated with light, the photosensitive molecules are optically pumped. Pumped electrons migrate to the acceptor molecular film 14 and a current induced in an external circuit connected with the electrode 12 through charge separation is observed in the form of a peak of short circuit optical current.
