PURPOSE:To provide a differential device which can always obtain differential restriction effect, and can be inexpensively and easily manufactured. CONSTITUTION:When rotational difference is generated between driving shafts on an output side, balls 5 are rolled in ball grooves 3b, 4b on output discs 3, 4. An eccentric disc 5 hollows up the rotation of the tails 6 and is rotated in the same direction with the output discs 3, 4. The rotation of one output disc 3 is converted to the rotation in the opposite direction through pinion gears 10. The output discs 3, 4 are rotated in the same direction, and differential movement of the driving shafts is attained. In the case that power for generating the differential rotation between the output discs 3 and 4 is applied only from the side of the disc 3, the balls 6 on the driven side at the differential movement time is going to make the ball groove 4b follow their movement at the output disc 4. Repulsion force is applied to the balls 6 from the ball groove 4b. By this resistance, the differential movement between the output discs 3 and 4 is restricted.
