METHOD FOR DETECTING MISPICK IN PILE FABRIC LOOM

PURPOSE:To avoid stopping a loom due to the occurrence of mispick which can be overlooked. CONSTITUTION:This method for detecting mispick in a pile fabric loom is to carry out the terry motion of an expansion bar 6 for guiding a woven fabric (W) by the operation of a servo motor 22, detect the presence of the occurrence of the mispick in weft yarn jetted from a picking main nozzle 28 with a weft yarn detector 40, stop the operation of a driving motor (M) of the loom with a loom controlling computer (C0) when the input of a detected mispick signal outputted from the weft yarn detector 40 is continuously detected in two picking cycles and continue the operation of the loom driving motor (M) when the input is not continuously detected in the two picking cycles.
