PURPOSE:To prevent mismatching in map matching. CONSTITUTION:A position measurement error elimination means ST2 eliminates a previously determined error based on position information calculated by a position measurement means ST1. A map matching means ST3 searches on which road a current position as an output of the elimination means ST2 exists in map information, and determines the position. A position measurement error detection means ST4 determines an error of output position information of the position measurement means ST1 based on position information obtained by the map matching means ST3, and feeds it back to the elimination means ST2. |
