A table for a powder container, contg. pneumatically transportable powder esp. for spray coating, has (a) a platform (8) which receives the powder container (12) and which is joined to a base (2) by a tilting mechanism (10) for tilting the platform from a horizontal initial position to a sloping final position, and (b) a pressure device which urges the platform into the sloping final position with a sufficiently large force that the platform (8) is pressed into the horizontal initial position against the force by means of the full container but, as the container empties, tilts the platform progressively towards the sloping final position.
