PURPOSE: To simplify the terminal processing of a wire at a position of an insulation eliminated contact element, and to protect a wire from at least either surge voltage or surge current, and to enable to take out the applied voltage, which is led through a terminal block, with a tap. CONSTITUTION: In a terminal block provided with a housing 2 made of plastic and plural insulation eliminated contact element 7 for input wire and output wire, which are provided in the housing, plural insulation eliminated contact elements 7 are arranged in the plastic housing 2 in the condition that they are separated from each other. Each insulation eliminated contact element 7 is provided with a central tap 18, and plural central taps, which are arranged in the plastic housing 2 in the condition that they are separated from each other and opposite to each other, are connected to each other through plural kinds of function plugs 31.
