Frame to carry detachable edging tools

A frame holds a tool to prepare an edge (8) of a workpiece (9), allowing relative motion to take place. It contains guide- and contact pressure rollers (22) which lie on opposite sides of the workpiece. The roller axes (21), seen in the direction of motion of the frame (6), are at an angle in the region of 80-88 deg to it. There is also at least one support, to hold the frame on the edge of the workpiece. Pref. the frame constitutes an oblong change- or subframe to hold a variety of functional tools gripped by fixtures (16). On opposite sides the frame (6), arms (50) project transversely; each arm has a carrier (19), held adjustably, for the guide and pressure rollers.
