PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a general-purpose mechanism for dynamically converting a request from an application to a network control protocol and executing the converted request.SOLUTION: A network configuration device for dynamically configuring a network for an application for linking programmable service in the network includes regulation storage means for storing regulations in which an application request is described by using a declarative description language. Each of the regulations includes conditions and an action to be executed when all conditions are true. The device further includes: network information reception means for receiving statistical information on a communication state from the network; condition evaluation means which successively reads the regulations, and evaluates each regulation by using all of the conditions of the regulation on the basis of the newest statistical information; and command sequence generation means for generating a command sequence for programming the network according to an action of a regulation which satisfies all of its conditions. |
