The anchorage consists of a hollow tube (8) fitted through a hole in the base or marker (1) and designed to receive one or more curved rods (13) which project outwards into the surrounding earth. The marker or base is moulded, e.g. from resin concrete, and contains a two-piece fixing element (16) embedded in it to fit over the hollow tube, a plastics ring (11) over it and a metal ring (10) to engage with a flared end (9) on the tube. The two-piece fixing element can be divided either horizontally or vertically, and the hollow tube can be used to receive the end of a post or mast. |
