The device has a mould space formed between the mould core and the mould cover is closed by a mould ring drawable over the mould core. A lift table is provided which encloses the mould core and a drivable cross conveyor for the lower mould ring raised by the lift table over the mould core to ground level. The cross conveyor (6) comprises a continuous conveyor located in the lift table (5) with conveyor rollers (8) revolving on both sides of the mould core (2). The mould core has a location (4) for the lower mould ring (3). The conveyor rollers form lateral conical running surfaces (12).
