PISTON IN ROTARY SWASH PLATE TYPE COMPRESSOR

PURPOSE:To reduce the weight of an integral single head piston and prevent wear at sliding parts between a piston and a cylinder bore. CONSTITUTION:A cut part 8a is formed at the head part 10 of a single head piston 8. Also the cut part 8a is recessed toward an axis C1 side on the peripheral surface side of the head 10 of the single head piston 8 on the opposite side of the rotational axis C0 of a swash plate 7 on the axis C1 of the single head piston 8. Then a load supporting surface 8b is formed at the center of the cut part 8a extendedly from the peripheral surface on the top end 10a side of the head 10. When the single head piston 8 is located at the bottom dead center, the load supporting surface 8b is located in a cylinder bore 1a.
