PURPOSE:To clearly form embossed patterns on the surface of a skin material while preventing the rupture of the skin material without increasing the wt. of the skin material or bringing about an increase in cost. CONSTITUTION:In the production of a door trim consisting of a skin material and a base material, a raw material 2' for forming the skin material and a high temp. raw material 3' for forming the base material is arranged between a lower mold 5 and an upper mold 4 having transfer embossed patterns formed to the molding surface 4a thereof in such a state that the upper and lower molds are opened. Thereafter, the molds 4, 5 are clamped and the raw material 2' is brought into contact with the raw material 3' to be softened by the heat of the raw material 3' and both raw materials 2', 3' are integrated so as to conform to the cavity shape formed between both molds 4, 5 to transfer embossed patterns to the surface of the raw material 2' from the molding surface 4a of the upper mold 4. |
