The pivot journals (2) of both bogie struts (1) are carried in a downward cranked crossbar (13). This connects the struts, and accommodates all transverse and tilting forces. One or more connecting rods (15), and one or more cross-dampers (16), are located between crossbar and carriage body (3). A steering damper (17) is located between the crossbar and coupling member (14). The crossbar has elastic stops (18), to limit the transverse movement of the carriage body relative to the crossbar. A vertical damper (19) is located between the two. Individual wheels (5,6) are horizontally movable at both ends of the bogie struts.
