The mowing machine has several pendulum mounted rotary mowers. Each mower unit is allocated a pendulum stabilizer which is moved by setting members or acts automatically. The stabilizer is springs (13) and dampers (14). The pendulum block is formed by a hydraulic locking cylinder (17) and recoil spring. When the mower machine is lifted through the lower rods the draw cylinder and locking cylinder are hydraulically biased and the locking cylinder slides from the work position to the locking transport position. When the mower unit is raised from the ground the angular position of the pendulum joint (3) passes to zero through the centring acting of the spring system (13). When the mower units are strained by the ground forces (K) the mower adapts to the ground and the spring system (13) springs along according to the angular position of the pendulum joint.
