The covering hood comprises a base body with reinforced bracing ribs (14) which are arranged perpendicularly in a self-intersecting grating (16). The grating has one-sided hollow spaces in the direction of the sound source. The bracing ribs have a tensioned panel on their averted side. The panel is a foil with apertures and every hollow space has an allocated aperture.
