<p>PURPOSE:To provide a tilt measuring instrument for a head lamp of an automobile, wherein the number of parts is few, the structure is simple and the zero adjustment after the adjustment of aiming is simple. CONSTITUTION:An aiming screw 20 is supported on a lamp body 2 and can tilt and adjust a reflector 4 in the right and left directions by the rotation. An inclination measuring instrument 50 measures the inclinations of the reflector 4 in the right and left directions. A sliding part 51 couples the inclination measuring instrument 50 with the aiming screw 20 and can be slid along a guiding member 60. A screw holding part 56 links the sliding action of the sliding part 51 to the turning of the aiming screw 20 by holding the aiming screw 20 and can disengage the linkage of the sliding part 51 and the aiming screw 20 by drawing to the side of the aiming screw 20. A cursor 74 is provided at the sliding part 51. A scale 63 is provided at the guide member 60. The instrument is constituted of these parts.</p> |
