PURPOSE:To add optimum pattern information under a condition where pattern information is liable to be missing. CONSTITUTION:Image information read by an image reader 3 is subject to image processing by an image processing unit 4 and then a specific pattern decided by a pattern addition device 7 is added to a paper sheet processed by an image output device. That is, a specific pattern is selected by an additional pattern selection device 8 based on a detected flaw from a flaw sensor S1 sending a flaw of a photoreceptor of an image forming section 6 and its switching signal is fed to the pattern addition device 7, which decides a pattern to be added among plural specific patterns. The pattern signal is fed to a laser writer 5 to add a pattern to the image and the result is outputted. Through the constitution above, it is prevented that the added pattern is too distinct or not legible depending on the quantity of flaw of the photoreceptor and the stable additional pattern is always generated. |
