PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of picture due to the vibration of the motor of a rotating polygon mirror. CONSTITUTION:Five damping members 4 are mounted on the bottom wall 2c of an optical box 2 and a bit having a female screw is buried in each damping member 4. Since a stator coil 10 of the motor rotating a rotating polygon mirror 8 and a motor base plate 1 are elastically fastened on the optical box 2 by means of a screw fastened on the bit penetrating each through-hole 1a, the vibration of the motor is transferred to the lenses 5a, 5b of an image forming lens system 5 through the optical box 2 and there is no fear to deteriorate the picture. |
