The invention relates to a process and an installation for producing mineralised cement clinkers. The mineraliser can, for example be gypsum, fluorine or a waste product which contains these or other mineralisers when the process according to the invention is used, some of the problems which occur in connection with the known technology are avoided, since it is possible to use the quantity of added mineraliser as a regulatable parameter when producing the mineralised clinkers. In order to reduce or completely avoid the problems with caking in the heater cyclones and the delivery pipes between the cyclones, the mineraliser can expediently be added after the cyclone which supplies the calciner, that is the last cyclone in the preheater, or the lowest preheater step in an installation without a calciner. This also avoids problems associated with insuring that the raw meal moves uniformly through the preheater, since the flow properties of the raw meal can become substantially worse when the mineraliser is added before the preheater, depending on which mineraliser is chosen. <IMAGE>
