DIELECTRIC RESONATOR AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF

PURPOSE:To reduce a man-hour and to make the size of a filter small by using an end face electrode of the dielectric resonator for a connection electrode with a coupling element so as to eliminate the need for a metallic coupling terminal pin. CONSTITUTION:A resonator hole 2 is provided to a dielectric body 1 of the dielectric resonator, an inner conductor is provided to the resonator hole 2 and an outer conductor is mainly provided to the entire sides of the dielectric body 1 except the part where a dielectric material is exposed on a ridge cut-part 3a of the end faces. Then the outer conductor is divided into a substantial outer conductor and a lead-out end face electrode 4a of the inner conductor by the ridge cut-part 3a and a lead-out end face electrode 4a is used for a connection electrode to a coupling element.
