PURPOSE:To dispense with the necessity for a caller station to send out an ID number manually by the use of a DFMF signal by storing the ID number of the caller station included in a reception digital channel signal in an automatic answering recording mode. CONSTITUTION:An MCA station 100 is set by a CPU 34 and an operating part 40 in the automatic answering recording mode. When the radio part 12 of the MCA station 100 receives the digital channel signal on a common control channel, the digital channel signal is supplied to a decoder 14, and is demodulated to a demodulation signal. The ID signal of the incoming call station 100 included as the demodulation signal is compared with an allocated ID signal stored in a ROM 38. When a riception ID signal coincides with the allocated ID signal, the CPU 34 checks whether or not the MCA station 100 is set in the automatic answering recording mode. When it is set in the automatic answering recording mode, the ID number, the group number, and the additional number of the caller station 200 are sampled from the restoration signal of the decoder 14, and the ID number of the station 200 is stored in a RAM 34.
