The invention describes an air-cooled compressor unit for generating compressed air in the low-pressure range from 1 to 4 bar, which unit, while maintaining a compact construction, has a high efficiency and achieves compression lying closer to the isotherm as well as a low residual-oil content combined with a maximum air outlet temperature of 100 DEG C, and which can be manufactured cost effectively with fewer components. The unit is characterised in that the compressor used is a vane machine operating in the low-pressure range, whose oil separator vessel (17) is designed as a multifunctional casing with an intake chamber (39), which is fitted within the casing separated by a partition (46), and a discharge chamber (23) which is designed as a pre-separator and in the lower region forms the oil sump, and a flange-like face which is positioned parallel to the feet of the casing and on which the fine oil filter (6) and the air intake filter (4) are fastened which communicate, via orifices (35, 50) arranged in the flange-like face, with the discharge (23) and the intake chamber (39), respectively, and on which face a hood (27) is mounted which encloses the fine oil filter (6) in a sealing manner. <IMAGE> |
