PURPOSE:To realize an index converging plate in which a converged light can be efficiently generated without letting the converged light escape from the index incident surface of the converging plate, and a beam index type color cathode-ray tube device using this converging plate. CONSTITUTION:A dichroic mirror 12 provided on the incident surface side of a converging plate 9 transmits only the index light emitted from an index phosphor according to the emission of electron beams, and reflects lights of other wavelengths. A reflecting film 11 is formed on the surface other than the incident surface of the converging plate 9 so as to totally reflect the converged light, and, consequently, the converged light can be efficiently generated without letting the converged light escape from the incident surface of the converging plate 9. |
